Nancy Sen

Massachusetts Wedding Officiant

Thank you for visiting my website.  Perhaps you attended a wedding I officiated, were referred here by a friend, or saw my profile in Boston Magazine; however you got here, I am so glad you're here.

As Certified Life Cycle Celebrant, it is my closely held belief that your wedding ceremony should be an extension and reflection of you, your partner and your relationship.  No two ceremonies are alike, because no two couples are alike.

Here is how the process works.  After you contact me, we will schedule a time to meet in person or to chat by phone.  During that initial meeting we will get acquainted and talk through your vision for your ceremony. If you don't have a clear vision, don't worry - most people don't!  As I get to know you, your backgrounds and your personalities, I can make recommendations for elements that I think may suit you.

Next, I will send you and your intended a questionnaire to fill out.  It is a tool for me to get to know you, so I will ask you questions about yourselves, your relationship and your ceremony.  Many couples find that in the midst of wedding planning and under pressure to make innumerable decisions, it can be a nice respite to reflect upon the reason you have chosen to marry.

Once you send me your questionnaires, I will use our discussion and your responses to craft the first draft of your ceremony.  It will incorporate all of the choices you make with regard to your processional, vows, unity rituals and other elements.  I will also write your Love Story—how you met, how you fell in love, and ultimately how you came to be standing in front of your closest friends and family on your wedding day.  After I sent you the first draft, you are of course entitled to unlimited revisions and final script approval.

In the end, I will help your perfect ceremony take form.  It will be personal, beautiful, and something that you, your family and your friends will remember forever.
